Enter the Rolent Church and talk to TODO at TODO. A bird has stolen Arumu and Aiali's engagement ring. Head over to the Esmelas Tower and ascend all the way to the top to find it. Once the ring is recovered, head back to Rolent Church to return it.
You can head to the Esmelas Tower now or later in the game. You'll find the ring at the top of the tower. After that, go back to Rolent Church to return the ring.
Head to Grune Gate and talk to Paiser to find out that the Fisherman Guild is looking for fishing spots in the Rolent area.
To successfully "record" a fishing spot, Estelle must actually fish out a fish from the spot. Since the last fishing spot is inaccessible until the end of the chapter, Estelle can take her leisurely time recording fishing spots as she encounters them. The fishing spots are as follows:
Advice You don't need to "go out of your way" to record all the fishing spots now (especially since the last one is only accessible at the end of the chapter). You can record the fishing spots as you progress through the story -- the fishing spots will be highlighted in the walkthrough.
When you're done, head back to Grune Gate to report to Paiser.
You can find this monster at the end of Elize Highway, near the exit to Grune Gate.
Another standard monster fight. Would recommend taking out the ?? (jellyfish-like monster) because it occasionally uses an attack that has a chance of instant-kill.
Head down Mayfair Road until you're on the third map (i.e. the one right before Welter Bridge Pass). Look for a big gorilla-like monster on the road near the center of the map.
Another standard monster fight. Be careful when the Giant Snow Gorillas "save up" for their attack as it is quite painful (either try to disrupt it or heal heal heal).
This is the Trails in the Sky SC version of a similar sidequest in Trails in the Sky FC.
Unconfirmed: if you solve this sidequest with Olivier and Kloe, you'll get additional dialogue between those two.
Head to the Rolent Inn and enter the room in front of the entrance and talk to Yina. Yina took a nap and her cat went missing ... again.
Head to the airport, go upstairs, and talk to the guy beside the airbridge. Then go down to the warehouse area at the back of the airport and talk to the guy in the alley between the two buildings.
Leave the airport and talk to Quint in the Orbment Workshop. Go back to the airport and talk to the guy at the southwest tree. Then go back upstairs and let Scherazard "convince" the guy to let you in the airship (LOL). Head down to the end of the cargo hold to find .... lots of cats!
The monster is right in front of the Esmelas Tower. Before engaging the monster, it helps to be able to cast Earth-based spells (which you should be able to do if you're following the walkthrough) and be able to cast area healing spells.
Equip the party with anti-confusion accessories (optionally, also equip the party with anti-paralyze accessories, then head west of Rolent towards Perzel Farm. The monster is near the T-junction.
Enter to the Abend Bar (亞班特酒館) and talk to the chef Deseru (德瑟魯) in the kitchen. The old man Lao (拉歐) at the bar counter wants to eat a dish from waaaay back in his time, so Deseru needs Estelle find the recipe book for a traditional recipe known as "Rolent Style Stew" (洛連特風味雜煮).
Exit the kitchen and talk to the old man Lao. He thinks that only the older residents would know this recipe. Go to the second floor of the 雜貨店 to find old granny Bloom (布露姆). But, oh noes, she has already given away the recipe book!
Enter Retla (雷特拉)'s home beside the Abant Bar to find the recipe book. Assemble the following ingredients and hand everything over to Deseru.

Find Anton at the top of the clock tower (you might need to rotate the map a bit to find the back door to the clock tower). He knows of a secret drug that negates the effect of alcohol, so he plans to ask Aina out on a date by challenging her to a drinking contest.
But in order to make this anti-drunk drug, he needs Estelle to help him get the following ingredients:
Estelle should have accumulated enough of the monster body parts from fighting in random battles. The Pearlgrass fish can be found at the Ailitz Road fishing spot (south of Rolent, beside the bridge). Since fishing is a chance thing, it would be wise to save before fishing so you don't waste too much bait.
For the highest probability of actually fishing out a Pearlgrass fish, Estelle should use the Conch (田螺) bait with the Bamboo Rod (竹竿).
If you didn't listen to me in the Chapter 3 walkthrough, theeeeeeeeoretically you can also use the Worm bait with the standard Fishing Rod.
When Estelle finishes collecting all the items, return to Rolent and give it to Anton. Now sit back and watch him challenge Aina at a drinking contest (it's quite hilarious).
Blblanc is at it again. And yes, again it's another set of cryptic messages left clue cards.
Estelle starts off with the first clue, the "person sitting beside the Goddess". Enter the Septium Church and head to the upstairs balcony. Inspect the empty chair.
The next clue is a diagram. Leave the church and exit the map east to the Mayor's home. Look behind his house (might need to rotate the map a bit) for a set of boxes stacked like the diagram, three at the bottom and two at the top.
The last clue is the "eight-eyed metal monster". Return back to the main Rolent map and go to the rear of the weapon store. Investigate the furnace door (again, rotate the map) for a rusted key.
Enter the Rolent Sewers (it's behind the church) and use the rusted key to unlock the door at the end of the sewers. Save and enter for a boss fight.
